Electrical Installations

An electrical installation is made up of all the electrical equipment that is supplied through the meter. It includes everything from the consumer unit (fusebox) through to the sockets and switches.

We can support home and business owners with installing, upgrading, maintaining, and fault findings their installations.

Electrical Testing

Various laws require business owners and landlords to ensure that the conditions they provide are safe from electrical injuries. This requires routine checks and inspections on wiring by a qualified electrician.

Good knowledge of the age of different installations allows us to relate the installation to the version of the regulations it was designed under.

We price our testing solely on the actual testing, rather than undercharging for the testing on the basis that repairs will be done in the future. We incorporate honesty and trust into our work and if repairs need doing, we can price them for you to decide what to do next.

FAQs

It is recommended that all houses are rewired every 20-25 years, at least, to remain electrically safe. Electrical components naturally deteriorate over time, and the blowing of a fuse or regular tripping of the circuit are just two of the common signs that a rewire may be necessary.

We will reveal if any electrical circuits or equipment are overloaded, find any potential shock and fire hazards in electrical installations, identify any defective DIY electrical work, and highlight any lack of electrical earthing or bonding.
