Derwen Solutions is an independent specialists in commercial & industrial electrical installation and maintenance but we can handle domestic jobs too.

Derwen has been described by clients as efficient, reliable and trustworthy in the provision of high quality and complete electrical solutions. Derwen is happy to undertake the unusual repairs and jobs that other contractors tend to not want to take on.

Based in Colwyn Bay but our work spans from Abersoch and Holyhead to Chester for the bigger projects.

As a member of NAPIT and part P approved, we are fully compliant with BS7671 2018 Amendment 2 and are fully insured for all jobs taken on.

Derwen Solutions was founded as a sole trader by Simon Towler in 2011 just after he moved to North Wales a year earlier, having previously directed a specialist plastics extrusion and injection moulding business in Norfolk.

Simon’s roots span from a passion for environmental awareness, reaching near-complete carbon neutrality by setting up 4kw solar panels and solar thermal hot water in his home, driving an electric car after charging it using solar energy, and writing recycling and sustainability documents.
